💌A Note From Me
Welcome to the very first edition of Letters From Your Corporate Big Sis.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the past decade across Wall Street and Big 4 consulting, it’s this:
Confidence isn’t something you wait for — it’s something you build.
Most people don’t feel ready when they step into bigger rooms, bigger opportunities, or bigger roles. The difference is who moves anyway.
That’s exactly why this space exists — to share the lessons, strategies, and insights I wish someone had told me earlier so you can navigate your career with more clarity, confidence, and intention.
Now let’s get into this week’s insight.

3 Ways to Build Confidence Before You Feel Ready

01. Move before you feel qualified.
Confidence is a byproduct of action. Volunteer for the stretch project. Raise your hand. Growth lives on the other side of discomfort.
02. Upgrade the way you speak.
Stop softening your authority. Say what you mean and say it like you mean it.
03. Track evidence, not emotion.
Doubt is loud but inconsistent. Keep receipts of your wins. Revisit them when doubt gets loud.
