💌A Note From Me

One thing I hear all the time is
“I don’t want to sound like I’m bragging.”

So instead… people stay quiet.

They do the work. They deliver. They move things forward.

And then someone else gets the recognition.

Not because they did more
But because they were seen.

There’s a difference between bragging and positioning.

Bragging is loud and empty.
Positioning is clear and intentional.

If your work isn’t visible, your value isn’t either.

And in corporate, perception matters just as much as performance.

3 Ways to Make Your Work Visible Without Feeling Like You’re Bragging

01. Keep your work visible real time.
Don’t wait until something is finished to share it. Give quick updates in meetings, send a note when something moves forward, or recap progress as you go. This keeps your name tied to the work in real time, not after the fact.

02. Be intentional about who sees your work.
Not everyone needs visibility into what you’re doing, the right people do. Keep your manager, leadership, and key decision makers in the loop on what you’re building. When your work makes their job easier or contributes to real impact, they will naturally advocate for you.

03. Own your work and bring others up with you.
Make sure your name is connected to what you’re delivering by speaking to it and closing the loop. At the same time, give credit to those who helped execute. That balance builds trust and demonstrates leadership.

📍Where to find me next week

Thank you to everyone who has been advocating for me and inviting me to speak. It truly means a lot and fills my cup every time. If you have not met me yet, come say hi in person!
